2012 Indiana Emergency Response Conference

A Partner With Indiana University Health

 

The Indiana Emergency Response Conference (IERC) is planning to bring together leading experts in all facets of the Fire, EMS and Law Enforcement industries.

Speaking proposals are now being accepted for the 2012 IERC, which will take place September 12-15, 2012 at the Indianapolis Convention Center in downtown Indianapolis, IN.  


Interested candidates are asked to submit outlines of your proposed topics by January 1st, 2012 (now extended to January 13th) to be considered by the Conference Committee.  Please forward this link to others.  Any questions can be addressed to Terry Rake, rake@indianaerc.com, 1-877-733-1850, or Cheryl Kussow at tckussow@yahoo.com or kussow@indianaerc.com,  317-408-3988. You will be notified of acceptance/denial in April.

 

Benefits of Presenting:

 

The IERC appreciates the value that each presenter's expertise, background, and experience brings to the conference.  The IERC offers the following benefits to selected presenters.


1. Complimentary Funn-conference registration on the day of your speaking engagement - including access to all sessions, meals provided to full conference attendees and the vendor hall.

 

2. Complimentary conference bag and materials.

 

3. Assistance in booking discounted airfare, travel, and hotel accommodations.

 



 

 

 

Guidelines (to prepare before you start):

 

Multiple presenters - Provide the names, contact information, and bios (60 word) of all presenters.


Limits - Two presentation proposals per individual TOTAL. Please fill out this survey twice.


Documents to Prepare - Submission will need to include title, abstract (60 word), audience, objectives (at least 3) and Audiovisual needs.


Online submission required.  Please do not use bullets or numbers – formatting should be plain.  The easiest way is to make a master document on your computer and cut and past the paragraphs for your abstract etc...

Length of Presentations - Presentations are typically 1 hr long. Special cases can be considered with committee approval (additional hour increments or all day courses).

Resume Requested - Please submit your resume, including public speaking and experience. Email Terry Rake rake@indianaerc.com  with "2012 IERC (Insert Name) Resume" in the Subject line and attach your resume as a Word or PDF document.
