Hyatt Regency Indianapolis, Ballrooms A-D

  • The Friday night banquet and awards ceremony will have all of the pomp and circumstance of the academy awards. A formal dinner will be served to all attendees that we are confident will be pleasing even to the most discriminatory palate. After dinner, we will recognize those that have been nominated by their peers as the best of best in our great state. We will also recognize those that put forth that extra effort to make sure that all of Indiana’s Emergency Response Personnel remain on the cutting edge in our industry.

  • The guest speaker for the banquet will be Daniel Cullen, a mentalist has been leaving audiences speechless since the year 2000.  With charm and a natural sense of humor, Daniel takes you on a mysterious journey of the mind where the impossible is made possible.

  • Fox 59 Meteorologist, Lauren Jones, will assist with the presentation of the awards.

Hoosier Burn Camp Indianapolis Indians Game Family Outing for Adolescent Burn Survivors

On Saturday, August 14th Hoosier Burn Camp (HBC) will hold its 2nd Annual Indianapolis Indians Game outing for families of burn survivors from infancy up to 12 years old.

At 5:00 p.m. families will arrive at the Military Park Shelter house in downtown Indianapolis for food, fun, and a chance to learn about more Hoosier Burn Camp and the programs we offer.  We will be grilling burgers and hot dogs for dinner, and at 6:30 everyone will head to Victory Field to watch the Indianapolis Indians take on the Syracuse Chiefs.

This opportunity will provide parents and children with valuable moments to make new friends and support one another in recovery from burn injuries. This program, like all HBC programs is provided fee free to the families. HBC welcomes participation in and support for this event in the form of ticket donations and volunteer time. If you are interested in being a part of this outing, please contact Mark Koopman at 765-296-8869, mark.koopman@comcast.net or Abby James at 317-370-4037, abigailjames@att.net.

HBC holds two family programs per year aimed at burn survivors from infancy up to 12-years-old and their families: the Indianapolis Indians game outing in the fall and the Indianapolis Zoo outing in the spring.
